Wazirpur upazila is next to Barishal-Banaripara road. Changuria village of Guthia on the side of the road. There is a big mosque in the south of the village. On December 16, 2003, a resident of Guthia Union, Wazirpur, S. Sarfuddin Ahmed Santu personally started the construction work of Guthia Baitul Aman Jame Mosque-Eidgah Complex by laying the foundation stone on about 14 acres of land in front of his house in Changuria. The construction work of the Eid Mosque Complex was completed in 2006. Inside the mosque complex, there is a large mosque-minaret, Eidgah Maidan with a capacity of more than 20,000, an orphanage, a post bungalow, a car park, a lake and a flower garden. Large pond to the right of the main entrance of the complex. Mosque on the west side of the pond, one and a half thousand Musulli can pray together. The height of the minar adjacent to the mosque is 193 feet. There are two fountains on either side of the entrance to the Eidgah. According to the concerned authorities, about 210,000 construction workers have worked on the construction of this mosque. Later, the mosque came to be known as Guthia mosque.
